Hi! This is the second time I post a complaint regarding the same problem and company. Hopefully this time I will get some sort of help. Same story: Altech suspends my line yet my account has been paid. They then expect me to pay a reconnection fee (which was not my fault as acc has been paid) I received my latest statement 19/11/13 which shows that I must pay R352.47. I e-mailed Elon (who has been trying to help me) the same day. Sent another follow up e-mail 4 days later, no reply. I just received another sms informing me of the amount outstanding R352.47 is due. I have paid my acc on Sunday via EFT amount of R260 which was the amount I signed up for when I upgraded in 2012. My line will probably be suspended again this month which I will not take kindly to. PLEASE explain WHY I should pay R352.47 when it WAS NOT my fault that my line had been suspended for two months in a row. WHY SHOULD I PAY RECONNECTION FEE? Altech has been sending sms's informing me that the fee has been credited and everything is fine, why am I still receiving statements and sms's with the WRONG amount payable? PLEASE HELP.
