Still no feedback on the following complaint: I cancelled my line and adsl rental with telkom on the 16th October 2012 (ref#65234798A) as no longer required the service. The same day my line was cut, and I had no service. In November my account was debited and so I called 10210 and the lady said they forgot to cancel the debit order. Then my account was debited again in December. I called Telkom again on 10210 and got through to a lady in the PE call centre who said I need to wait for the next invoice to be generated so that a credit dispute could be raised. She also said to me that if I had no service from the 16th I did not have to pay from this time onwards. I waited for the new invoice and called 10210 again but this time got through to a different call centre. They advised me that there was a 30 day cancellation notice. I have only received a partial credit thus far. How can the agents all give a different story about the cancellation period. Why should i not get all my money refunded to me from the 16th as I had no service. It is not a contract I signed. I was not made aware when joining telkom about any 30 day notice period.
