Telkom refuses to cancel my line

Hi

I wanted to cancel my Telkom landline at the end of February but after calling your 10210 number a number of times I could not get hold of anyone even though I stayed on the line for more than 20 minutes!
I lodged a complaint on hellopeter and someone phoned me the next day (somewhere between the 1st and 4th of March) and said that my line would be cancelled. My escalation reference number is ARS 223135

Now I received an account for the period 4 March - 3 April. When I enquired they told me that my line is still active and I have to give 30 days notice to cancel my line. Despite the fact that I didn't even have a telephone in the last 3 months! And still I cannot get hold of anyone on the 10210 number.

I demand that my line be cancelled immediately and I refuse to pay any of these so called outstanding amounts!
