I went into Vodacom Killarney to check on when I was due for an upgrade to an iphone5 and the terms thereof. Lerato told me that there was no stock and there would be an increase in my monthly fee. I thanked her and said that she should NOT action anything. Imagine my surprise on receiving two SMS stating that a SIM swap was underway and that my phone was unavailable. I called 082111 and in order to reverse the UNAUTHORIZED SIM swap I now have no cell service for up to two days and have to wonder how many calls were made while my number was out of action from this morning until I read the SMS and hopefully put a stop to the potential!!
