I applied for a data contract just over 3 weeks ago at the MTN service centre situated in the Standard Bank Centre in Simmonds Street Johannesburg. I was advised that i would have feedback within 5 days.By the following week I had no call from them and decided to pay the centre a visit as they don't have a land line you could call them on. Every time you needed information you would need to physically go to the shop, wait in a ridiculously long line to get some kind of assistance. The consultant advised me that the contract had been approved but that the modem i required was currently out of stock. He then told me that he would order the device the following day and that someone would call me during the course of the next week. To date, i have had no feedback regarding the matter. I went back last week at around 10h30 and saw a note on the door advising that they were closed due to training. I called the head office who advised that they would get someone (Ushiel) to contact me. No such luch. I followed up again today and they advsied that someone else would be getting back to me. But still no such luck. Who in this day and age is able to throw away business like this?
