Gardenshop-No delivery and bad attitude

I purchased R 2123.80's worth of goods from the Gardenshop Menlopark on 17 April 2013 and paid R150.00 for delivery scheduled-18 Apr. I specifically asked that delivery should take place before 15:00 as after that there will be no-one at home. When I arrived home to pick up my kids for swimming on 18 April 14:50 the goods were not delivered - I immediately phoned. I was told by die manager, Ina that the truck has just left -I told her it is too late as it is almost 15:00.I enquired why they did not deliver as requested. The manager had every excuse in the book, from their delivery truck has broken down to the driver being sick! I asked her why a) they accept payment if they know their delivery van has broken down and b) why did they not have the decency to at least let a customer know that there is a problem. She did not answer my questions and did not take any responsibility. When I said that I am going to complain, she was very keen to give me their head office number instead of trying to resolve the issue. I phoned the Bryanston HQ and was told to send an e-mail as the person dealing with complaints has "already knocked-off" at 15:00 and no one else can assist. Bad service and attitude!
