So i bought a platinum engagement ring last year July 2012. on the 1 January 2013 my fiance noticed that her diamond had fallen out. three of the claws had broken and the diamond was missing, on contacting American Swiss and handing the ring over we were informed that the broken claws were as a result of the wearers negligence. we were further informed that when wearing the ring one should not get dressed or get the ring wet as this resulted in the claws breaking!!! please note that this ring is platinum!!! we then had to go through the insurance company as American Swiss refused to pay for the repairs as they said it was my fiances fault!!! we then gave American Swiss the go ahead for the repairs after being told by the insurance company that they will cover the costs. This was over three weeks ago, after weekly contacting the branch we were informed after three weeks that the reason the ring is not ready is that they are still waiting for the diamond to be delivered!!! we are getting married on the 30 April and are being told that they hope the ring will be ready in time but not sure!!! what a shambles!!!
