RUSSELL HOBBS PRODUCTS PATHETIC

I purchased a Russell Hobbs kettle and toaster combo set at GAME and it lasted 6 months. I returned the product to GAME and reported the defect. After having arguments with them they exchanged the product for another RH combo set. That evening the new RH kettle was not functioning. 12/12/12 I had to go back to GAME to exchange the product. A period of 3 months has lapsed and my kettle is leaking excessively. I went to GAME AGAIN just to have them tell me the story that the product will be referred to the supplier to be repaired. The assistant at GAME wants to refer me to the Consumer Protection ACT, Act 68 of 2008 two can play this game. S 41 (1)(a) states that with regard to the marketing of goods the supplier must not by words mislead or make false representation concerning a material fact to the consumer. The fact the RH states that their products are of excellent quality is a misrepresentation. S 53 (1)(d) states that goods that present an extreme risk of personal injury or property damage to the consumer is unsafe. S 55 (2)(a) and (b) reads that every consumer has a right to receive goods that are suitable and are of good working condition. RH products are PATHETIC!!!
