I bought a few alcoholic items on 02/02/13 from Makro Bfn Liquor store for my husband's 40th birthday party in April. I wanted to exchange 2 items and I phoned them in advance. A guy by the name of John told me telephonically that I can come at any time. So me and my husband went there on 09/03/2013. My receipt wasn't very clear anymore, so I told the lady who assisted us that she can check my transactions on my store card. She told me that its not possible to check past transactions, I insisted that you can and she even wanted to start a big arguement in front of other customers. After a long debate she hesitantly went to the office to check. To make a long store short... later came with the copy and told me that I didnt buy the other item there because its not on their system. I told her it was 2 transactions I made for that day she must go back and check for the other copy on their system. After waiting for more than 1/2n hr she came back and said that the last item have expired on 25/02 and they cannot exchange it. I feel that they were suppose to make us aware that there were only 3 weeks left before expiry the lady with her bad attitude & service is unacceptable!!
