No return policy

Hi, I got an item as a gift and its all still with the price tag and in new condition. However, they would refuse to take it back due to me not having the slip as this was purchased cash as a gift. This is unacceptable as I have to keep an unwanted item. Furthermore, this item is now reduced in price. All I am asking is that I am able to even get a voucher for this item.
