October 25, 2012 i paid my municipal bill at Pick N Pay LaLucia. The teller incorrectly entered my account number which resulted in non-payment.i spoke to the supervisor Devi on 22Jan2013, who advised that everything has been corrected and even went to the extent of getting the teller to apologise to me. She also stated that my bill is now credited.i walked away thinking that all was sorted.this month i get a bill stating that i am in arrears! i called to speak to Devi-she wasnt there. i spoke to Pinky, she advised she cant help and she will have Devi call me. i explained the situation to Pinky -she said i need to speak to PnP head office. she transferred me to ETHEKWINI Offices! the lady on the line advised that she is aware of the situation and that Devi was supposed to send her the invoice on Jan 22 2013. she was still waiting for the invoice. Devi failed to send it -which resulted in my account being unpaid. her irresponsibility makes me look like a bad payer. i have spent money on phone calls to PNP &the municipality & paid interest on this account. this is clearly not a matter of urgency for Devi n PNP as 5 months ago the error occured and im the one sitting with the problem!
