I took out a contract on the 25/02/2013 and had internet problems.
My boyfriend visited Cell C on numerous occasions before the 7 days to exchange were over to solve the data/internet problems. He was tired of issues with Cell C and wanted the money back that was PAID for the data bought. The store assistant was very rude, after waiting 45mins for the manager, Mrs Devi Moodley, she said that she could not give the money back and he had no right to ask why she took so long to assist him. She also said that he was rude and she could not give him the store owner's number as he was in meetings the whole day.
What kind of customer service is this?
The phone was checked by Samsung and there was a factory fault!
The 7 days to have the phone changed has passed even though we went to the store to fix the problem, this was the fault of the incompetent, rude, unhelpful staff at Cell C Northgate. The service was completely unacceptable and I have no problem in going to the consumer council and the Ombudsman for assistance.!
I expect a new phone as it is not my problem that the staff at the store were not doing their job properly!
