Ethekwini Water And Lights Payment

Three weeks ago the logged a complaint against the above business. Regarding my above bill which was paid but only when through after 15 days this was after i intervened and followed up. Now Ethekwini as billed me on my new billing statement a fee of R115.00 rands for late payment. They have advised its is not their problem as the payment was made at Checkers. Checkers Intergrator Pay @ advised me that I should not be chargered this fee as it was not my fault. The problem occurred when the cashier at Checkers captured the payment buy had forgotten to send through the the code to say the account was paid. This resulted in the amount of R700.00 not been updated on account. Now like I advised Checkers before I will not be responsible for the fee and Checkers will pay this Fee on the account since the fault was on their side.
