Bad attitude and bad service

On 24feb2013 I went to buy a chaise bench at @ Home in park view. I was told I was lucky they had stock so I could take it home same day. I then went home to get a bakkie as I wasn't expecting this. Upon return I inspected the chaise and realized it had a fault. Manager confirmed this and they reversed the deal and placed a new order. To my surprise I was told I would have to pick it up at warehouse when it's ready. When I expressed my dissatisfaction I was told its policy. The warehouse is in centurion and I asked why I had to go there when they can ask warehouse to deliver at the shop and I can pick up from there especially because this was their fault. With a bad attitude I was told they don't work that way! What kind of shop expects customers to collect at warehouse. What if I was in joburg, would I have been expected same? The way I was spoken to was a like it leave it kind of way, and even when I decided to cancel the deal, I was just told they will refund and no effort was even made to save the sale. This was a manager on duty that day and I couldn't escalate to anyone. I am very disappointed with the service and worse of all with such an appalling policy!
