Unbelievably aggravating service by agent

My dad purchased a product from Hallmark, and upon receipt of the product in December 2012, without opening it, he sent it back with the courier at the same time of delivery, as he changed his mind. This was in December 2012. We have contacted the call center for Homemark from December 2012 to date on numerous occasions, almost weekly, and have chatted to a consultant, Herman, who has daily promised to provide feedback as to my Dad's query. up until now, 08 February, after chatting to this same consultant yesterday, who promised before 12 on 07 February 2013, he would provide feedback, he has not.

this is so frustrating to phone and query something daily, and be ignored. it was very simple for them to take payment and send the stuff, but to respond to a customers query, then they have no time. what is this service, they have no idea what service is, especially after selling products, and forgetting they still need to service their customers. it seems clear the training stopped at the time of sale.
