Pathetic Attitude from Manage

I bought a pair a slippers, which was put and was barely on for hour and it ripped between the sole and top part, I took it back to get exchanged and I was that because I didn't have a slip it could not be returned, I then asked for the manager and the manager had the worst attitude I have come across in my life he told me their policy was no slip no return, I asked him what am I supposed to do with this ripped slippers. He bluntly stated: "do whatever you want to do with them". His attitude sucked, the fact that he was not willing to compromise and take the product back that was sold to me was just shocking, I can go to Edgars or Jet and they willing replace goods without a slip. I just feel the way I was treated by a manager of all people was wrong and why is he not allowed to take his own damaged goods.
