On off-loading the Sambron machine here in Queenstown, first we were unable to start the machine we had to pull it off the roll back, a rear steering ball joint was broken so we could not steer it either, we can accept this as wear and tear, we fixed the starter motor and got it started, then we found water in the hydraulic oil, we then found the high / low gear lever was broken and missing, thus it could not go up a small mound of ground, then we found that the main boom pins, the one is welded and the other is half out, when we fitted the new ball joint (wear and tear) we found the rear steering cylinder to be leaking. There are other hydraulic oil leaks as well that still need attention when we complained to Eric Stone and Alf Duncan, at Alf Duncan Auctioneers he had his lawyer writing us a letter saying that we bought it voet stoots.
