Vehicle purchased and now not in running condition

On the 10th of May 2013 I bought an IVECO MAGIRUS 256D14 Double Cab, Fire Water Truck from Consolidated Auctioneers at Warmbath yard and payment has been made immediately of an amount of R22 629.00. On Auction day the auctioneer said that this truck is in running condition and drive away, so I bought the truck. First I struggled to receive the registration documents. I found that the truck is not in a running condition and noticed that the 2 battery's has been removed. Mr. Eric Murray repaired the starter at a later stage and now he his billing me for this starter an amount of R 2 900.00. According to my knowledge if you buy an item and it says in running condition, it must have both it's batteries and the starter must be in a working condition. It has been almost 2 month and the truck is still standing at the site with no batteries and unable to drive. Mr. E Murray is also threatening me, regarding this situation. I am also losing money, while this truck is standing at the site. Please assist me in this matter. Regards Pieter Wagner 083 601 2830
