Ridiculous offer to replace with inferior product

On Thursday night I ordered a Severin S2 coffee machine during Dion's Epic Sale. The unit retails for R10k, and it was on special for R5k. Knowing it was an excellent special, I ordered online with standard delivery to secure my order. I received an order confirmation and a pending debit on my credit card.
I then called the call center on Friday to offer to cancel my online order and collect in store. I spoke to Devan, who advised me that there were only display units available in Cape Town, and I should retain my order online, rather than risk losing the special. I agreed and we left the order as it stood.
Today, after contacting Dion Wired myself after no updates to delivery, I'm informed that there is no stock of the order and they can offer me a Delongi unit. On Friday, Devan confirmed stock at a number of locations (not display stock), in Johannesburg.

I'm not asking for anything different. Stock was confirmed telephonically, the order was accepted online, and I have an invoice. I'd like Dion Wired to honour their agreement of sale with me. After expressing that I'd like the managers contact details to escalate, naturally I haven't received this.
