Appalled at mess

I was at the East Rand Mall Edgars on 6 Jan 2014 and was appalled to find the Customer Service / Returns department in such a mess. It was one of the worst experiences I have encountered. No aircon, stood and waited a long time for service and in VERY untidy surroundings. I took photo's of the broken Christmas wrapping boxes and rolls, broken cupboards, the piles of clothes on and behind the counters. This on a Monday at 16h30 - totally unacceptable. There is staff chatting casually everywhere, no urgency for anything, hiding behind tall display counters flirting - yes its true. Been a customer of Edgars for many years (and even worked for them years ago), but I am fast realising I don't want to ever go back. Sent them a complaint, was told they couldn't get hold of me (joke?!?) Was also promised that my complaint had been escalated to the branch and someone would revert. Still waiting. Even more disgusted with the service now. Judging from Hello Peter, this seems to be the norm at Edgars.
