After attempting to return a suit from Christmas I've now had enough.
The Sandton Edgars store, which is apparently the flagship branch seems to also be the worst managed of them all.
Here are my observations:
1. A very stylish looking customer care area only ever has 2 tellers open, even during busy periods with long queues.
2. At teller points where there should be Edgars employees serving at the cust. care there are piles and PILES of stock lying on counters.
3. I checked for new stock of a suit for sizes 4 times in January and each time i had to go to ANOTHER FLOOR to find someone to help me.
4. Of the employees that i encountered i didn't find ONE that was very willing to make any effort to assist until i turned rude and demanded help.
4. No working lifts.
5. The escalator has been broken for more than 6 months.
6. Pay points are ALWAYS understaffed.

For a company doing so many rolling upgrades it's quite surprising to see such neglect of such a busy store. It won't remain busy for much longer if your aren't careful.

I decided to write this after being part of a queue of VERY irate customers at creditors today
