Pick 'n Pay
Store Policy is a lie!

Shops, Products, Services

Please note that Pick 'n Pay has a policy indicating that if the price of any item does not correspond with the price of the displayed barcoden then the customer will be paid double the difference, if the item is rung up at a higher price

This is however not true, I purchased a chicken on sunday the 5th January, the barcode stated that the price was R46.70, but the product was rung up for R426.70. Had I not checked my slip, Pick 'n Pay would have robbed of more than R300. When I queried the policy I was sent to the store manager, Rob Bisset, he referred me to another gentleman, Mark Jacobs. I was promised that he would come back to me by monday the 6th. This however did not happen. I made contact with Rob again, and was once again shoved from pillar to post. I eventually contacted customer service, and a lady by the name of Liezle Galant that she would sort this out. She later came back to tell me, that their policy" does not apply to any weighed goods in their store. No where is this stated on their shop policy, which is hanging inside all their stores, visible to all. Are they just making up the rules as they go along? As Liezle mentioned to me, "there is a catch to the policy"
