I'm a transport company owner and my business partner and I decided to go deliver with 1 of our trucks on 09/12/2013 so we can see what delays our guys and try to speed up the delivery process. We arrived around 8 and when the receiving opened we were assisted by a lady named Violet. Her forklift driver poked one of our 10 kg bags of rice while offloading. We pointed this out to Violet and she said she saw it but won't take responsibility as our packers didn't pack right at the warehouse. I then told her. She then told me not to tell her how to do her job when I asked she indicate what happened on the invoice so the warehouse is aware it wasn't my guy's fault so we don't get charged. When I told her I was the company owner she was shocked, but went on being rude even after I told her we wanted to see what problems our guys experience during delivery as they always complained about Receivers making them take too long at stops. I then told her I need to leave as we need to go back for 2nd load at the warehouse, at this point she told me I'll never do 2 loads per day as if she was part of my business or even had a clue how we operate. All pick n pay receiving areas have this problem!!
