No Delivery of Product 2 months- Fully paid fo

We ordered a Scandi chest of drawers on 29/10- paid for in full by 29/11. We were promised delivery by Grant on 15/12 at the latest. The date came &went with no word from @home. We went to the store to follow up on 16/12& they could not find our order on the system! Today, we returned with the receipt and Ref number - Ref:128788, only to have store manager- Rene, remark- "Oh, I completely forgot about you! ". She searched for our order and strangely enough found it on the system this time. It turns out the item is not in the country yet &delivery is delayed with no explanation. When exactly were we going to be informed of this? There was no follow up on our order by the store in 2months. If we didn't keep going into the store, we would have no idea what was going on. We are now told the item will arrive on 5 Jan- but that is just a possibility but not a certainty! The store insisted that we pay the full purchase price when we did- so @home keeps our money for months & we get nothing! If delivery is so uncertain with your store- payment should be made upon delivery. We moved into a new house 2 weeks ago with our clothes lying on the floor with nowhere to pack it! Very disappointing.
