Shoddy Workmanship

My wife designed and had a Jewish religious symbol made as pendant for my birthday in June 2013. Two months ago I noticed that the clip that hold the pendant onto the chain had started to come apart. I went to see them and they assured me that, that was how it was supposed to be and that it would be fine. Today I noticed that the pendant had fallen off of the clip. I went into see them his assistant told me to choose a ready made one and he would pay half but Victor was not prepared to assist me in any way possible. This was a piece of jewelry that was made by them and obviously the workmanship was very poor.
