On the 13 January 2013 i bought a silver chain with a cross pendant for my boyfriend, a few weeks later we noticed that the chain was changing was turning black i was shocked as this was not supposed to happen to a chain which cost R1500 as it got worse i took it back to the store where they refused to exchange or refund me. the response was we cannot do that, they blamed my boyfriend for wearing perfume which he does not. he has a chain from Edgars which cost R300 and years later that R300 chain is still shining . they told me to buy a jewellery cleaner which i did as there was no chance of exchanging the chain, when i got home, the next day the cleaner was dried up
