PATHETIC SERVICE ONCE AGAIN!!!

I requested a pair of shoes to be delivered to the Edgars Parow store, at the time of request there were quite a few pairs in stock, i asked the lady names Roslyn to assist me and have a pair from Canal Walk sent, instead the shoe was sent from Polokwane. When i got to the store the package was already opened and the shoes were two left feet. The lady that assisted me on that day said she would ask her colleague to place another order the following day because the store was offline and she was off the following day, which i fully understand. The order was not placed the following day. I spoke to the store manager and she advised me that the shoe is out of stock and that they will have to wait for customer that purchased two right feet to return the shoes she purchased. They would then contact me once this was done, its been a month and i still havent been contacted yet. She also told me that she would look for something similar in the mean time and contact me once she finds something. I havent heard from her since that day. I have so many unanswered questions. Why was the package opened and checked but no one noticed that it was two left feet?
