I am bitterly disappointed in my recent experience with Truworths store Tygervalley. I wanted to exchange a pair of shoes and was told that because the shoes were worn my request could not be granted. Firstly I tried the shoe on in store and was happy with the fit. When I returned home and decided to wear the shoe to work and walked in it for literally an hour my feet started hurting. I sat at my desk and took the shoes off. I had to go home during my tea break at 10:30 that morning to put on a more comfortable shoe. Now yes I wore the shoe and I had no intention of returning it because I was happy with my purchase but how could I foresee that it would hurt me unless I walked in it for a few hrs? You cannot tell me I should have tried the shoe on in store to see if it hurts me because that is exaclty what I did and i found it a comfortable fit. A friendly lady by the name of Natasha has been dealing with my complaint and has enquired on 3 ocassions without success. She had to contact me yesterday with feedback but has not. I cannot pay R320 for a shoe I dont intend on wearing. You are from a customer here and I WILL cancel my account with you if my request is not met.
