I went into this PnP branch to quickly get a loaf of bread cigarettes. Paid, Upon leaving i noticed that i was charged a rand more the i should have for the bread. I went to have this resolved. I spoke to Jay who advise me to wait at till 9 and they will assist me. Waited for them to finish serving their own PnP staff, i explained that the price is incorrect. No one bothered to check if the shelf price is right. The cashier proceeded to say that she will now ring up the bread at the correct price. I said 'does this store not follow the scan right policy'? Mashudu now goes to see if the shelf price is correct and barcode etc matches. Jay proceeds to educate me about the policy. The 1st item is at the lower price... then a whole lot of nonsense. I said to her it appear that she and her colleagues need training as they do not know their own company policy. She loudly inquired if the 'New Scan Right policy is in effect etc' from other staff nearby who reply that its not. Why and go on about a new policy that is not even applicable now? Jay and Mashudu are deceitful people that tried to wiggle their way around the truth that they had messed up. I demand an apology from Jay.
