Store mnager at jet has pathetic attitude

My father went to jet in the prominade mall to take back a pair of safety boots which he bought less then 2 months ago (the 4th pair) genises is the brand.speaking to the tore manager he was told that all the items in jet only carry a 1 month garuntee which is pathetic.then when my father told him he doesn't want his money back h just wants a other pair od safety boots or items to the value of R230 the manager said "its their policy that anything evan up to R1000 is broken its the customers problem" is this the pathetic level that jet which my family supported for YEARS has sunken to? Egan when buying the boot my father had to look for the boot himself because the staff were to lazy to look for it themselves
