Poor quality of shoes

I bought a pair of knee high-boots last year. I have only worn them about 4x. I have a problem where these boots one of them are cracked in half underneath. I spent over R300 for them thinking that i purchasing a brand that prides themselves in producing quality products. I am very disappointed because i thought this pair would last me a while. I could have just gone to a Chinese store in town if i knew that Rages manufacturing standard is now on same level as fong Kong products. I would like know is there is anyway i can return this boot so it can be checked by professionals as i am afraid that a shoemaker will damage the boot worse as the damage is internal and not visible from outside of the boot.
