Really dissappointed with quality of boots

I bought a pair of Timberland boots (Timberland cap toe Chelsea boots) this year at MIAS in Woodmead. Already the soles are nearly through. I threw away the slip, because my previous pair of Timberlands (Timberland Men's Mt. Washington City Chelsea Boot) lasted more than 5 years! My father also bought 2 of the same pairs (Timberland cap toe Chelsea boots) this year and he is reporting the same issue. We bought it because of the good service we got out of our Timberland Men's Mt. Washington City Chelsea Boots.

If this is Timberland's new standard of quality that they plan to maintain on their boots, they are quickly going to lose a lot of customers. I don't mind paying for boots that last, but this was a real disappointment.
