Charged for something I cancelled

(1) on 19th July 2013 - I applied for my application.
Going an hour later to check if it was approved didn't happen due to my mistake of not writing down my ID number. At that time it was 6:00pm. So I completed the form and the account lady said the application will be processed the MONDAY 22nd July 2013- which I was fine with.

(2) On 23 July 2013 I was sent a message by Thank U to say that was approved for an account.

(3) On 25 July 2013 I received two (2) mails in my post box. I opened them both up and it stated that I purchased a Family Provider Plan Option 01 and Personal Funeral Plan Option 01. WHICH I DID NOT GIVE PERMISSION TO DO.
Nevertheless - the mail STATED that I have 30 (thirty) days to cancel this plan as I am under no obligation to buy the product.

(4) On the 13th August 2013 (NOT EVEN 30 DAYS LATER) I called 0860 1136 39 to cancel these plans I haven't even given permission to purchase, and the telesales person confirmed - THESE WERE CANCELLED DUE TO MY CALL and thanked me.

19th August 2013 (Today) I checked my email and get my statement and I have been charged for these plans that I CANCELLED??
I will close my Account and advise others to check their statements
