I purchased a pair of 9ct Gold, Fresh Water Pearl Stud earrings from the Alberton City, Gauteng, branch on 1st April.
I wore the earrings a couple of times, and sometime later in that month one of the pearls fell off.
I returned the earrings to the branch and was told they would have to send them away to be repaired, but seeing as they were so new NWJ would probably replace them with new ones. They would phone me when they received them back - it would take 3 - 4 weeks.
Eventually on the 8th June I went into the branch on the off chance that the earrings would be there - I had not been contacted by anyone from the branch.
The earrings were at the branch, but I refused to accept them as one of the earrings was missing the butterfly.
I was told they would again have to send them away as they had no butterflies in the store that would fit.
Once again I collected my earrings - on 13th June and wore them on one occasion over the long weekend.
One morning, at the beginning of this week upon opening my jewellery box I was astounded to see that a pearl had fallen off again.
Although I e-mailed my complaint to NWJ I have no response.
