NOT PAYING TO REPLACE A SET OF EARRINGS!!!

I lost a earing worth about R8000. It was spesified and insured. However now they only want to pay out half of the insured amount. THIS doesn't help, because I cant replace my earrings becuase they DO NOT SELL EARINGS seperatly EARRINGS are sold in PAIRS. The value of losing one is the equvenet of a PAIR because i cannot replace only one, I have to purchase a set. Thus losing one how can you now tell me that the value are half of the insured value. According to quotations and industry loosing one the value to replace it will be that of a SET, not half that value. I insured my earrings for unfortunate evens like eg losing it, however when do people losse both at once? I want to replace my set and now insuring it did not help me at all!!! I payed a installment on a set not on one-one earring. The replace my earrings i have to purchase a set. Quoatations received indicates 1x diamond earrings not 2x diamond earrings. I am very unhappy because even if they pay out half i do not allow me to replace my earrings.
