American Swiss Clearwater Mall - bad attitude

I received a gift from my friend - 2 heart-shaped earrings. One of the earrings had a stone missing. I bought back the earrings in the original packaging for an exchange. I went to Clearwater mall's branch and we were not served when we walked in. I eventually went up to an employee and explained I do not have a receipt as it was a gift. She was very offish with me and wanted to know what date it was bought on. I was not too sure and said it was after Christmas I think. The employee disappeared for a while. Another employee came up to me and said how much did I pay for the earrings? I said, I do not know as it was a gift.

Finally after a long wait, the employee who asked me how much the earring were came out and held the new earrings in my face and said "See, there are no stones missing. Bye." I was busy saying thank you and she just said, "Bye."

HOW RUDE! I am shocked. My wedding & engagement rings were from that store. I am so disappointed and appalled by the staff's behaviour towards me.
