Ridiculous System for Exchange

I recently received a gift from YDE that I wanted to exchange 4a different item as I had purchased the same bag previously. The bag still had the tag on but the price and barcode was cut off. When I visited the Melrose Arch branch they informed me they could process the return but needed a bar code and because they did not have the same bag in the store @ the time they could not assist with the exchange. They indicated that Sandton had the bag so i went to Sandton to assist. Upon explaining the situation to Charity she was rude abrupt and unhelpful and indicated YDE cld not process an exchange without a docket number so I need to accept that position. I then asked to speak to the store manager and she (Mpho) came to inform me of the same position. I pointed out the ridiculousness of the policy seeing as every other store in this country allows exchanges for goods without a receipt. She then tried to insinuate the bag could have been @which point i asked her how the security tag could have been taken off. This experience was completely lacking of any sort of customer support or assistance and highlighted why YDE should not be a store me or my friends should frequent. shocking!
