Ought shoes at the Sandton store 23 November, I wore the shoes twice and the heel started to come off, I return them to YDE the Glen for an exchange. I however did not have the slip as I had already worn the shoes and where a perfect fit, and i did not expect them to be damaged, I understand the the general return policy. However, the damage is not my fault and YDE should at least try to meet me halfway, I was informed that I needed to produce a slip. When I tried to explain to the manager that I didn't't want to get my money back, I just wanted to exchange the item, or have them fixed, the manager's attitude was flippant and told me she couldn't't assist and could not be bothered to try help. I usually purchase quite a bit of stuff from them (which I will not be doing), just wanted to return this one item and use the credit against the new purchase. She then told me to go to Sandton where the item was purchased to speak to the manger but they will also need the slip if I wanted to return the item (which was a bit of a pointless recommendation!) How can YDE refuse a return / exchange an item which clearly damaged, I gave them the shoes and walked out they do not deserve my money
