Pathetic exchange policy

Very disappointed with the service that i recently received at forever new. I am quite a regular customer and was shocked to receive such appalling customer service recently when I needed to exchange two gifts that I had received from the store as a birthday present. Firstly they have a strict 10 day exchange policy which is not even compliant with the new CPA. Furthermore they insist on you having a receipt even if the goods are in condition with the tags and barcode still on. my sweet friends who bought me the gifts from forever new in Johannesburg obviously could not get the receipt to me and even if they did it would have been over the strict 10 day period. I obviously had no control over when the items were bought. I managed to get receipt back, for one of the gifts i received however the other item's couldn't be located. the manager still refused to assist and was in no way helpful. Furthermore i was not even asking for a refund merely for an exchange. Forever new had already made their money and a simple exchange of bran new items in excellent condition with the tags should have been done. this is completely unacceptable and will never again shop at this store.
