Faulty installation

My boyfriend's landlord replace the locks on metal doors with Craighall locksmiths and it didn't work properly from the start. The first lock broke shortly after installation and they came to fix it..At no time during installation did they say the doors were faulty and that the locks would even break because of it. We hardly used the doors, afraid that the locks would break but recently started using the one door and both keys broke because the lock was loose and not attached properly. We then called them and they sent someone out. They did not say there would be a call out fee. The guy took the lock and said he would check it. When we called him, he said he had to charge a call out fee and for a new lock. We then called the owner and went to the shop. The owner said there was nothing wrong with the lock and that he would cut a key and come and install the lock the next day. We already knew that, the fault was with the installation. He came and installed the lock and then like a crazy person, suddenly removed it saying you have to pay me now!!! After much arguing he broke the lock, handed it back to me and said "now you can't use it''!!! what a crazy cheat!!! bad service and workmanship!!!
