ADT damaged my phone line and are charging me

I signed up with ADT to do the monitoring of my alarm. I wanted a transmitter that could tell me which zone of my alarm was activated, as my previous monitoring company could do this. They said they could install one at an extra charge by linking it to my telephone line. They installed it, but it never worked, and in the process, they damaged my phone line so badly that I can't actually use my phone. Despite the new transmitter not working, they still charged me R580 for the installation. despite phoning them 5 times about this, with many promises to have the situation resolved, 3 months have now passed with no solution. Needless to say, I am back with my old monitoring company, that got everything working perfectly (except my phone line - still damaged) within 2 days.
