With regard to the post made by W Willis about the breach of contract on behalf of ADT security, I was contacted by Alfreda Walker from ADT stating that they are going to send out a technician to remove the transmitter. Now when purchasing my property the transmitter was already installed and we merely signed the contract with ADT as the house had an existing alarm. Coming back to Alfrede, I have asked her to forward me the job card showing me that I have signed for the installation of the transmitter. She then sends me a copy of the original contract which i have already have a copy of, and states to me that " the transmitter will remain the property of ADT security ." I then told her that it also states in the contract that if a owner moves house, that he or she should notify ADT so that they can send out a technician for removal of the transmitter. Clearly ADT did not do there jobs as usual and now i am held liable for the cost of the transmitter as i refuse to allow them on my property. Alfreda then tells me that the technical department is resposible for that blunder. My question to ADT is how does a internal blunder become my problem now when they are at fault.
