Be Wary of CSS Tactical

In Dec 2012 I had 2 break-ins at my house in Craighall Park and decided to employ CSS Tactical on 20 Dec to provide 24x7 security for a month at a fee of R22, 515. I was contacted on 8 Jan 2013 additional items were missing from the house at a value of R30k, which were removed whilst CSS were providing around the clock security.

At a meeting with the MD, Ricky Croock on 17 Jan I was told that they first needed to undertake an internal investigation before they would admit any liability or offer any form of compensation. The was done and they found in their words "deception indicated from the polygraphs of one of the guards" and I was offered R20 000 for damages. I decided to turn down this offer because I felt that this is definitely not enough to compensate for the goods taken plus the massive inconvenience it caused to rectify the situation. CSS have decided now after a few months to withdraw this initial offer and will give me no compensation.

I have no other recourse but to make it known that I am extremely unhappy with this whole saga and the way I have been dealt with. I will not recommend CSS to anyone and would advise all to be wary of any dealings with them.
