Css Tactical
Early debit order without customer consent

Security

Good day,

CSS implemented an early debit order on 19 December 2013, after already debiting my account on 2 December 2013. The sms sent to me which notified me of an early debit order did not contain any Opt Out capability and I did not give the company my consent to debit my account early.

This resulted in my account being overdrawn and my bank charging me R90 to honour the payment. I have requested CSS Tactical finances (Mpho) to credit my account in February 2014.

I have been paying my account every month for the last three years. Perhaps CSS Tactical needs to be informed that an early debit order policy is not to target their best clients, especially not those who have never missed a payment? Also, that their consent is required first?

Regards

Chris
