Changes on Contract After it was signed

In April 2013 we Bought a house and installed a Alarm system.
I then signed A contract with ADT on 13 April 2011 for MONITORING ONLY.

Now I'm trying to cancel my service but have a very difficult time as ADT claim that the Basic Alarm system is there's.

On my Original Copy of the Agreement there is no ticks in the boxes "Rent or owned". But on ADT copy of my contract there is ticks adde to the Rented block.

Please explain to me HOW it is possible for ADT to ADD details to a Signed Contract AFTER IT WAS SIGNED BY ME THE CLIENT.

ADT wants me to Pay R 1500.00 or they will deduct the money from my account for the alarm.
