We accepted a quote few months back to re-wire and replace some board that was damaged. I accepted the quote and faxed back.. then heard nothing for months. I eventually sent an email & attached another acceptance of the quote in PDF format, which was actioned. The contractor came in to do the repair (re-wiring of system & the replacement of the board) but by the time he left the system was not working at all!!! The key pad kept on beeping straight through the night although I phoned Blue Wed & Thu night saying that my alarm system is not working & that I have not slept & was promised to have it sorted. On Friday I had enough as I got a quote saying that I need to replace the main board & some other board costing close to R3K. I then contacted the Installation Manager as well as Customer Services Manager as I honestly could not believe what shocking service & nonsense I had to deal with. A snr technical guy was then sent out who found that nothing was wrong with the boards I was told need to be replaced & reported that the faults on wiring (not done properly). Was told now that there is a quote for wiring (fixing what was not done properly). PLEASE take this off my hands!!!
