ADT - is my alarm an ornament?

I had an alarm, allied to ADT, installed in July 2013 with 1 year guarantee. ADT sent a technician to do a quality control check and found what I consider 3 major faults. These were attended to. On 9 Sept the alarm was triggered and ADT after arriving promptly found it to be a false alarm, but were unable to reset the alarm for my wife who was alone at home. They told her that the techies could only come out the following day. When I arrived home at about 23h00 from work, I found the fault and did an emergency, temporary repair to it. I eventually phoned ADT on 11 Sept to arrange for a techie to come at the first opp I would be available and off from work. I received a return call from ADT a few hours later and they said they would email the techie to call me. After waiting a reasonable few hours, I phoned the techie who had installed the alarm and he said that he was supposed to be responsible for any repairs. He was not available on 12 Sept and we arranged that he come 13 Sept. I specifically told him to come as early as possible as I would be leaving for work at 11.30am. I spent the entire morning waiting and he just did not pitch. Does ADT not regard this as urgent?
