I am writing this e-mail as a very frustrated customer (Customer Code Pay 081)

We had a break in at our office somewhere between the evening of 23 December and the early parts of 24 December 2013. My colleague and I had armed the alarm around about 5 o clock on 23 December. When my colleague came in the morning of 24 December 2013 he found the security guard of the office park waiting for us to tell us that the finance office had been broken into. My colleague had to disarm the front door alarm when he entered the office.

The surprising question is why did the alarm not go off? We then engaged the alarm a few hours later to test it our self and when that went off, this was the first that ADT came to the premises. The security guard of ADT could not understand why the alarm did not go off previosuly and promised that a technician will come through the next Monday.

A technician did come on 30 December and said he would send a second technician to test the alarm again and get us a log of the times that the alarm was armed and disarmed and to investigate the reasons why the alarm did not go off. We have not heard from ADT since.
