National Consumer Database

I was called by a call center/ chase JV with Matrix making me an interesting offer on a matrix tracking system.
I inquired where they did get my name from and was told it is from the National consumer database.

When i stated there is no such company, the agent carried on with this. I asked the third time where they got my name from and then the call center agent hung up on me. I do not object to cold calling because almost any business has done or did cold calling one way or another.
However it is my right to know where Matrix/ Chase go my name from.. simple..
I was not upset and did not shout. There was no need to hang up.. just answer the question and move on..
I will be waiting for a response.
