House move and cancellation of service

I notified ADT in writing of my planned move of house on 16 July 2013. I recieved a ticket number indicating that the query has been forwarded to the relevant department and they will contact me. I indicated that I am giving notice and the I accept the month of August to be my final month as part of notice but I want the radio signal to be disconnected as I will not be living there from 8 August 2013 and do not want to be burdened with calls from the alarm that goes off from the new residents' doing... I have since had no response! I have enquired 5 times via email and made 5 calls to the call centre sine the intitial email - only to be told that they are frowarding the request tot he relevant supervisor. on three occasions I was promised a call back on the same day of my call: NEVER happened.
The customer service is extremely poor and not even an indication of where the request is in the process could be given. No Information at all for that matter could be given via the call centre. The new premises I am moving has got a contract with ADT. I will not pay for two contracts of which one I am not even the resident of! The administration of this request was non existent!
